Community, Technical & Adult Education (CTAE)

CTAE offers articulated (free) clock hours for each the following CTE programs offered at FHS:

  • Allied Health Assisting
  • Culinary Arts

Note: CTAE does not issue credits for courses completed; students earn hours toward the completion of their certificate program.

In order to qualify for these free credits, the following criteria must be met:

  • Complete three or four full years (depending on the program) within the same CTE Program (Eligible programs listed above.) Note: Courses should be sequential and taken in consecutive (not concurrent) years. Students will be responsible for presenting an official high school transcript to a CTAE admissions advisor to verify courses and grades.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in the CTE program of study
  • Graduate high school
  • Enroll at CTAE in the designated PSAV Program for your program of study (See below for the designated programs.)
  • Pass an end of year program exam, which will determine entry level and clock hour credits
