A Career Pathway is a sequence of courses designed to help students explore and prepare for a specific career area. A career and academic sequence is recommended for all students regardless of post-secondary intentions and includes progressive exposure to the world of work.

Students can earn college credit by taking a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program of Study and entering the post-secondary institution and majoring in the articulated program.

Students who complete a three-course CTE program of study with at least a B average in those three courses and meet other requirements designated by the college may be eligible for free credits at a state college (such as College of Central Florida or Santa Fe College).

FHS Programs of Study are articulated with the College of Central Florida, Santa Fe College, or Community, Technical, and Adult Education (CTAE). To find out which post-secondary institution your program articulates to, find your program in the chart below.
